Venn diagram card sort: Hungarian and Czech uprisings
This resource is aimed at GCSE students and it is designed to be used following the study of the Hungarian Uprising of 1956 and the Prague Spring of 1968. It allows students to compare and contrast the two events using evidence cards and a Venn diagram, making an overall evaluation of the extent to which the power and control of the USSR was threatened. The tasks lead to a GCSE style exam question. Teacher answers and an extension activity are included.
