Why did Northumberland’s coup of 1553 fail?
Students use a chronology of the events of the coup to plot a graph of changing support for Northumberland. They then assess the validity of Christopher Morris' view of the coup. This resource was planned for OCR's Unit Y106: England 1485-1558: the Early Tudors, but might also be useful to teachers of other courses covering a similar period.
