Massacre at Wounded Knee: Structure strips

A Key Stage 4 writing task in which students learn about the causes and events of the Massacre at Wounded Knee and then use a structure strip to write an analytical article. Factual knowledge about the event is included. The structure strip gives students key tasks, including some focus on the discipline of cause and consequence, and encourages students to consider different viewpoints for the event. This task would be suitable for independent or group work, and features differentiation ideas in the teaching notes.
