Using the 2014 Sainsbury's Christmas ad as a starting point, this resource contains a lovely collection of sources to evaluate the Christmas truce. The sources include a letter home from General Walter Congreve to his wife, and contemporary newspaper articles and photographs. A postcard home activity is suggested to consolidate understanding. Full teaching notes explain how to put the suggested tasks into action.

A great resource for those end of term activities. My only complaint is that I pay for a premium subscription but cannot download the editable document. Cannot understand why as it clearly says included with your subscription. This has been an issue since all the sites joined together.
