LifeSkills: Support for Educators

LifeSkills created with Barclays aims to raise the confidence, aspirations and motivations of millions of young people making the move from education into work. Whilst the teaching community adjusts to new teaching methods and the remote delivery of some lessons to their students at home, we’ve adapted lessons and developed a series of online lessons, led by facilitators. Many of our other lessons can also be easily adapted for remote learning, and
more new activities are being added weekly.

New remote learning hub for Educators

LifeSkills has adapted a suite of lessons into practical, engaging activities and online lesson films that are perfect for educators looking to run sessions remotely or support students’ independent learning. Online lessons and worksheets focus on money and employability skills as well as young peoples’ wellbeing and developing skills for staying positive.

You can also watch our handy film to hear tips and advice from other educators on how LifeSkills can help you make remote learning work.

View an example lesson and worksheet here around developing coping strategies; young people can also view the complementary online lessons to deepen their understanding.
