Reformers of the 19th century role-play

A scripted role-play in which Lord Shaftesbury, Robert Owen and Richard Oastler are interviewed to reveal their motivations and reforming ideas. While some students perform the role-play the rest of the class can complete a data capture worksheet. This leads on to a discussion of significance and how to remember the reformers.
