Designed to focus on history-specific vocabulary and language, these summary sheets are for common Y7 and Y8 topics and could be made available in every lesson. There's also a mat covering essential terms for the key concepts and processes: chronology, diversity, change and continuity, significance, cause and consequence, interpretations, evidence, and enquiry.

The topics covered here are the Medieval period, Britain 1500–1750 and Building modern Britain, but the mats would be very easy to adapt to different topics/year groups.

Laminate them and use them again and again!
